About me and my practice
Im a friendly and approachable counsellor, and Ill provide a comfortable and welcoming space for you. Together, well talk about whats going on in your life without judgment. Most importantly I will listen and join you in how you experience your feelings. You will be respected and given the time and freedom to express yourself. I can help you address your challenges and make choices to move forward in your life.
Counselling can truly make a significant difference in peoples lives, offering a safe space to explore a variety of issues. It is a privilege to be able to facilitate this process, and I am deeply passionate about providing individuals with the opportunity to have this experience.
Our relationship is a partnership, and I am here to walk alongside you as you take this step towards personal growth and self-discovery.
Working within a Psychodynamic approach means I put emphasis on you being at the center of the counselling process. One of the most important factors is the strength of our relationship as we work together to help you to explore what is happening in your life. I am here to help and listen to you and together we will build a safe and trustworthy relationship so you can feel unjudged, valued and most importantly heard.

Qualifications
As a qualified Psychodynamic Counsellor I have a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and Im a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). With experience providing counselling in a variety of Charity Organisations, my clients value my compassionate; nurturing; understanding personal style and combined with training in various theories and methodologies together we can explore any inner struggles.
Professional development is an important part of my practise and I regularly attend new counselling related courses and gain further insight and understanding to support my clients.

The Counselling Process
Step One
Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other. I will ease you in with a reassuring welcome and some simple questions that will allow you to start telling your story in a safe place.
Step Two
If we are right for each other, we will start to form a therapeutic relationship. This connection is based on trust, respect and openness which will greatly enhance the possibility of a positive result.
Step Three
Deeper discovery. Together we challenge the thoughts and beliefs that are holding you back. We unravel and unpick how you view yourself and your beliefs that perhaps you thought were set in stone.
Step Four
Success will show up as a new freed, enlightened perspective of yourself, the world and those around you. A fresh possibility of restored hope and optimism for the future with knowledge and understanding

Initial Consultation
Once you make contact we can book in for a free 20 minute consultation to see if I am the right choice for you, after this we can arrange our first session.
Once agreed you will receive confirmation of our session with a link for meeting online or details of our location for face to face, along with this will be our working agreement which covers what to expect plus payment and cancellation policy.
We will spend 50 minutes together during our sessions and book in each time for the next one. If working online please choose a place that is private where you can relax in a quiet space.
Fees
Online & Telephone Counselling £40 Per Hour
Face to Face Counselling £50 Per Hour
